1. The Association of American Publishers sponsors a "Higher Education Committee" which "serves the needs and interests of AAP members who publish for the post-secondary educational market." This is the home of the perspective of the publishers themselves, and increasingly reads as a defensive "Satan begone" series of press release and studies tailored to defeat the industry's critics. It also provides links to the Web sites of the six educational publishers who are members of this group.
